Smartlink Health Solutions today announced that they have formed a partnership with Henry Schein One to connect Dentrix customers to NC HealthConnex. The state of North Carolina has mandated that all government funded health plan providers, including dentistry, connect to the state’s HIE, NC HealthConnex. In order to assist customers in meeting this mandate, Henry Schein One has partnered with Smartlink.

Smartlink Data Connector (SDC) is a healthcare focused Integration Platform as a Service that leverages a system’s user interface (UI) to automate data sharing between disparate health IT systems. Because it leverages the UI, SDC works with non-Meaningful Use systems such as dental and behavioral health. SDC also works with any operating environment (SaaS, hosted, on-premise), and can insert or extract virtually any type of data, including scheduling, documents, images, discrete data, and practice management.
